Position: Agriculture Sourcing & Natural Raw Material Manager

Department: Supply Chain / Procurement / Operations

Reporting To: Supply chain

Location: Plant / Field-based (Extensive travel)

Regional Knowledge: Most crops are based in Tamilnadu & Bangalore so a tamil person is required, if knowing Tamil + kannad language will be an advantage

Role Purpose:

Will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sustainable sourcing of herbs, seeds, and botanical raw materials required for plant extract production, including sourcing from non-traditional crop-growing regions to ensure supply continuity, quality compliance, and cost stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop farmers, traders and cooperative networks

• Maintain crop yield, availability, seasonality, and price database

• Forecast supply risks and shortages

• Ensure raw material meets quality specifications





• Support traceability and audit readiness (Wherever Applicable)

• Maintain crop-wise risk register

• Mitigate climate and supply risks

Qualifications & ; Experience:

• B.Sc / M.Sc Agriculture, Botany, Horticulture or equivalent

• Minimum 10 years of experience in herbal / botanical sourcing

• Local language

• Agro economics &; crop cycle understanding

• Farmer engagement & negotiation

• Data analysis & reporting

• Robust Local communication skills

• Visiting farms regularly in the crop growing areas
