Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – TFC Fundraising to support our resource mobilization efforts. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and Manager – TFC to identify new funding avenues, research institutional donors, draft high-quality grant proposals, and manage end-to-end donor reporting and compliance. This role is ideal for a development skilled looking to deepen their expertise in CSR partnerships, trust grants, and donor stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

- Prospect Research & Pipeline Management:
- Identify and research potential corporate donors (CSR), charitable trusts,



and institutional foundations aligned with Sense India’s programmatic priorities.
- Maintain and update the donor database, lead tracking sheets, and relationship pipelines.
- Proposal Development & Grant Writing:
- Assist in writing compelling concept notes, grant applications, and customized funding proposals tailored to funder priorities and guidelines.
- Gather data, programmatic inputs, and impact stories in collaboration with field and program teams.
- CSR & Funder Engagement:
- Support the team in pitching to potential corporate partners and coordinating tailored partnership opportunities, including employee engagement and volunteering initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare presentation decks, and follow up with donor representatives.
- Grant Compliance, Tracking & Reporting:
- Track grant milestones, utilization timelines, and reporting schedules across active donor accounts.
- Prepare draft narrative and financial utilization reports for funders in a timely manner.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of donor agreements, MoUs, and communication records.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with program, finance, and communications teams to ensure smooth fund utilization and accurate impact reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on fundraising, grant management, or donor relations experience within the nonprofit or development sector in India.
- Education:



Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s in Social Work, Development Studies, Communications, or MBA is an added advantage).
- CSR & Grant Landscape: Working knowledge of the Indian CSR landscape (Section 135 rules) and institutional grant-making processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written English (specifically for drafting grant proposals and narrative reports) and strong verbal presentation skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel (data tracking, budgets) and PowerPoint.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, deadline-driven attitude, and empathy towards the disability sector.

Pay: ₹15,776.16 - ₹50,000.00 per month
