Job Summary:

The CBSE School Principal is the academic and administrative leader responsible for day-to-day operations, academic excellence, CBSE compliance, and the overall growth of the school. This role requires solid leadership, vision, and the ability to drive positive results in student learning and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic academic leadership and set clear educational goals.
- Oversee curriculum implementation aligned with CBSE standards.
- Monitor teaching quality, assessment practices, and student achievement outcomes.
- Manage day-to-day school functions, including schedules, timetables, facilities, safety, and welfare.
- Supervise preparations for inspections, records, documentation, and school reports.




- Build a positive work culture and foster collaborative practices.
- Address student welfare, behaviour, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
- Represent the school at meetings, events, and public forums.
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum, policies, and assessment frameworks

Required Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- 4-5 yers’ experience in education, with leadership roles like Vice-Principal / Head of Department / Principal preferred
