Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrician experienced in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of Flash Butt Welding Machines and related industrial equipment. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, control panels, welding machine circuits, motors, sensors, and automation systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Flash Butt Welding Machines.
- Diagnose faults in electrical control panels, PLC systems, contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, transformers, and power circuits.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding transformers, welding controls, motors, drives, and electrical circuits.
- Check and maintain proximity sensors, limit switches, encoders, solenoid valves, and other machine sensors.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD/drive, and automation-related electrical faults.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machine electrical systems.
- Inspect cables, terminals, connections, earthing, and electrical safety systems.
- Monitor machine electrical parameters and identify potential failures before breakdowns occur.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control-panel schematics.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, modification, and electrical upgrades.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and repair activities.




- Follow all electrical safety procedures, including isolation/LOTO requirements.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Practical experience with Flash Butt Welding Machines is preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD/AC drives, sensors, relays, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams and control schematics.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of three-phase power systems, motors, transformers, and industrial wiring.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety, earthing, and LOTO procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a maintenance team.

Qualification

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Experience in welding machines, heavy machinery, steel plants, railway manufacturing, or similar industries will be an advantage.
