Job Description: Speech-Language Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients of various age groups, designing personalized therapeutic plans that integrate seamlessly with our holistic approach to patient care and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing capabilities using standardized testing and clinical observation.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapeutic intervention plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and recovery goals.
- Therapy Delivery: Provide high-quality speech and language therapy sessions for conditions such as aphasia, dysarthria, stuttering, developmental delays, and dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Ayurvedic physicians, and other medical staff to ensure a comprehensive, holistic approach to patient rehabilitation.
- Patient & Family Education: Counsel and educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, home-exercise programs,



and techniques to support progress outside of clinic sessions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as required.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Certification: Valid registration/license with the relevant local healthcare council or rehabilitation professional body (e.g., RCI in India, if applicable).
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Speech-Language Therapist in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or wellness clinic is preferred (freshers with strong clinical internship backgrounds may also be considered).
- Core Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and families.
- Excellent patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with holistic or alternative medicine environments is a plus.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
