Assistant Professor - Mathematics

Experience

- 0-1 years of teaching or research experience is preferred.

Educational Qualification

A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate-level mathematics courses.

- Develop and implement course syllabi as per institutional standards and objectives.

- Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and other assessments.

- Provide academic advisory and mentorship to students pursuing mathematics and related disciplines.

- Contribute to academic and administrative committees and community-building activities within the department.

- Participate in professional development and maintain current knowledge in the field of mathematics.

Requirements

- PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline from an accredited university.

- Knowledge of modern pedagogical techniques and a passion for teaching.





- Robust communication skills and the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts with clarity.

- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools.

- Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity in higher education.

Nice to Have (Skills)

- Previous college/university teaching experience.

- Research publications in reputable mathematical journals.

- Experience with curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

- Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching methodologies.
