Job Role : Test Automation Engineer ( Playwright , Typescript )

Work Type : Contract – 6 Months Extendable

Job Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools.
- Execute test cases and evaluate results to ensure the software meets business needs.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Select and utilize appropriate test automation frameworks and tools.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Document test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to developers.
- Ensure clear and precise documentation of issues, defects, and test execution steps.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning,



daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments.
- Stay updated with industry trends and tools in software testing.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance software quality.

Knowledge and Experience :

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 5 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in testing tools like PlayWright, TypeScript.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure).
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Angular, Python, or C#.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and database testing.

Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering .

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Bengaluru Urban District)
