Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and physical upkeep of the dining areas, bakery display counters, restrooms, and back-of-house facilities. This role leads the janitorial and utility attendants, enforces hygiene checklists, manages housekeeping consumables, and ensures compliance with brand aesthetic and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facility Cleanliness & Area Inspections:

· Oversee continuous daily upkeep across guest dining areas, main entrance, service stations, and staff facilities.

· Conduct frequent spot-checks of guest restrooms to guarantee spotless hygiene, replenishment of amenities, and odor control.

· Enforce deep-cleaning schedules (glass polishing, floor buffing, exhaust clearances, and upholstery care) during pre-opening and post-closing hours.

2. Team Management & Shift Coordination:

· Prepare shift duty rosters, assign station checklists, and supervise daily attendance for the cleaning team.

· Train attendants on professional cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, chemical dilutions, and proper use of PPE.

· Ensure the housekeeping team maintains personal grooming, cleanliness, and polite guest etiquette on the floor.

3. Chemical & Consumable Inventory Control:

· Manage stock levels, safe storage, and controlled issuance of cleaning chemicals (e.g., Taski series),



trash bags, and paper products.

· Track daily consumption to eliminate wastage, pilferage, and supply stock-outs.

· Supervise the proper operation, maintenance, and upkeep of janitorial equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers).

4. Waste Management & Facility Audits:

· Oversee wet and dry waste segregation protocols, timely garbage bin clearance, and coordination with municipal waste disposal vendors.

· Coordinate with pest control partners for routine treatments and maintain inspection records.

· Identify and report maintenance issues (plumbing leaks, electrical faults, surface repairs) to the Store Manager immediately.

Qualifications & Skills:

· 2–4 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Head Attendant in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or commercial hospitality spaces.

· Working knowledge of professional cleaning chemicals, dilution ratios, and floor care equipment.

· Strong understanding of food safety hygiene standards, pest prevention, and waste segregation.

· Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team of cleaning personnel.

· Clear verbal communication in Hindi; basic understanding of spoken English is advantageous.

· Willingness to work flexible operational shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
