Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AEM Backend Architect to design and lead scalable enterprise solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. The role requires strong AEM backend expertise, solution architecture experience, and technical leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and define architecture for enterprise AEM implementations.
- Develop scalable backend solutions using Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Oak.
- Architect solutions on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Design AEM services, Sling Models, workflows, servlets, schedulers, and integrations.
- Lead integrations with enterprise platforms using REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Define standards for performance, security, caching, Dispatcher/CDN, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring to development teams.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Required Skills





- 10+ years of software development experience with robust AEM architecture and backend development expertise.

- Strong hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.

- Expertise in Java/J2EE, OSGi, Sling, Sling Models, JCR, Oak, and Maven.

- Experience with AEM Sites, Assets/DAM, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.

- Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and enterprise integrations.

- Knowledge of Dispatcher, CDN, caching, security, and performance optimization.

- Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Adobe AEM certification.
- Experience with other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with headless AEM and modern cloud-native architectures.
