Owns provisioning, patching, IaC, and security gating for the edge hardware and container supply chain.

Must-have hands-on experience:

- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform + Terragrunt for modular, DRY, multi-workplace provisioning of Azure resources and the Azure Arc-connected edge fleet.
- Artifact Security Scanning & Gates — Wiz and Azure Container Registry (ACR) wired into CI/CD as policy gates, scanning and blocking non-compliant images before they reach AKS or edge K3s.
- Edge Deployment Automation (bare-metal provisioning) — PXE server boot for zero-touch imaging and bare-metal re-provisioning of edge appliances at restaurant locations.




- Patch Management & Hardware Patching — OS/runtime/Kubernetes component patch orchestration, plus firmware/BIOS patch cycles for physical edge devices, coordinated with PXE re-imaging.
- Edge Networking (site layer) — Local network, firewall, and connectivity configuration for reliable operation over low-bandwidth/intermittent links back to Azure.
- Edge Resiliency & Disaster Recovery (infrastructure layer) — Automated recovery runbooks, staged rollback, and hardware/infra failover procedures — including PXE-triggered re-imaging — for disconnected sites.
- CI/CD — Pipeline design (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) with build/test/scan/deploy stages targeting both AKS and edge K3s.
