Job Description: Senior Project Lead C&I; - Commercial Interior Fitout JLL Project Development Services (PDS), Mumbai

Position Overview: JLL Project Development Services Mumbai seeks a distinguished Senior Project Lead with comprehensive Construction & Interior expertise to spearhead high-value commercial interior fitout projects. This senior leadership role requires a veteran professional with exceptional project delivery capabilities and strategic client management experience to drive JLL's premium fitout practice across Mumbai's most prestigious commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Leadership Lead flagship commercial interior fitout projects for Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, and India's leading business houses. Provide strategic oversight for complex multi-phase developments including corporate headquarters, financial services centers, technology campuses, and premium retail spaces. Mentor junior project managers and establish best practices for JLL's expanding Mumbai fitout portfolio.

Client Partnership & Business Development Serve as senior client advisor for C-suite executives and corporate real estate leaders, translating business objectives into innovative workspace solutions. Lead client presentations for major account opportunities and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers. Support business development initiatives through technical expertise and thought leadership in contemporary workplace design.

Advanced Project Management Orchestrate complex project ecosystems involving international design consultants, specialized contractors, and cutting-edge technology integrators. Manage intricate scheduling across multiple work fronts while coordinating with building operations, existing tenants, and regulatory authorities. Implement sophisticated risk management frameworks and contingency planning for mission-critical corporate relocations.





Technical Excellence & Innovation Oversee advanced MEP systems integration, smart building technologies, and sustainable design implementations. Guide specification development for premium materials, specialized architectural elements, and workplace technology infrastructure. Champion innovation in modular construction, prefabrication, and accelerated delivery methodologies.

Quality & Compliance Governance Establish and maintain JLL's quality standards across all project phases while ensuring compliance with international building codes, corporate security requirements, and environmental certifications. Lead quality audits, implement continuous improvement processes, and maintain zero-tolerance safety protocols for high-profile client environments.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development Lead cross-functional teams of professionals including senior architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors. Develop talent within the organization through coaching, knowledge transfer, and professional development initiatives. Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures for complex program management.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with advanced qualifications (Master's degree, MBA) strongly preferred.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in commercial interior fitout and construction management with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. Proven track record of delivering complex projects within Mumbai, Delhi NCR, or other major metropolitan markets. Demonstrated experience with international clients and global project delivery standards.

Specialized Expertise: Deep expertise in contemporary workplace design trends, activity-based working environments, and technology-enabled workspaces. Advanced knowledge of building automation systems, integrated security solutions, and sustainable construction practices. Experience with design-build delivery, rapid-track construction, and occupied building renovations.

Leadership Competencies: Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making abilities with proven crisis management experience.



Outstanding stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to board-level executives and international leadership teams. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams while fostering innovation and excellence.

Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Mumbai's premium commercial real estate market, regulatory environment, and construction ecosystem. Established relationships with leading architects, contractors, and specialty consultants. Deep knowledge of corporate real estate trends and workplace transformation strategies.
