About the role

Tectoro is looking for a Product Analyst to join the product team on halofort, turning feature ideas and client requirements into documentation the rest of the team can act on. The role owns requirements and tickets from request through to release, validates features as they are built, and keeps product documentation current. It is a good fit for someone with a solid analyst background who wants to work closely with product management, since the day-to-day responsibilities closely mirror what an assistant product manager does.

Key responsibilities

- Work closely with product managers to understand feature and client requirements, asking clarifying questions and confirming scope before work begins.
- Create documentation such as requirement notes, user stories, and process guides, and keep them updated as requirements change.
- Track and manage tickets across the requirement and feature backlog, keeping status, ownership, and next steps current for the team.
- Validate features against requirements as they move through development, flagging gaps, inconsistencies, or issues to product and engineering.
- Maintain the feature request tracker used to log requirements, feasibility notes,



and competitive comparisons across halofort's product line.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, and design to keep documentation and requirements aligned as features move from planning to release.
- Support release readiness by helping update release notes and other documentation ahead of each release.
- Assist with competitive research, comparing halofort's features against other UEM, MDM, IAM, and network security products in the market.

Must-have qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, product analyst, or assistant product manager, ideally in a software or SaaS company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between product, engineering, and other teams.
- Comfort working with documentation and ticket-tracking tools.
- A working understanding of what MDM (mobile device management), IdP (identity and access management), network security, and VPN technologies are and how they fit together; hands-on MDM expertise is not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple documents, tickets, and requirements at once.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative product environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Preferred qualifications

- Prior hands-on experience in any of the following: device management (MDM/UEM), identity and access management (IAM), network security, or VPN technologies.
- Experience working closely with IT administrators or IT operations teams, giving practical insight into how endpoint management and network security tools are used day to day.
- Familiarity with competitive analysis or benchmarking for a software product.

Experience supporting PRDs, user stories, or release documentation in an agile or iterative development workplace.
