Position: Coordinator - WWI Emerging Media LabAbout Whistling Woods International
Emerging Media Lab:The Whistling Woods International Emerging Media Lab focuses on the research, development and application of emerging technologies such as Virtual Production, Motion Capture, Virtual Reality and other immersive technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup, production, research and development, workflow creation, documentation and execution of activities at Emerging Media Lab.
- Coordinate academic activities conducted by the Emerging Media Lab across various programs and semesters, including schedule preparation and coordination with the Academic Coordination team.
- Plan and coordinate technical setups and provide operational support for film and advertising productions, live events, workshops, demonstrations and other Lab activities.
- Assist in developing new research projects, initiatives and collaboration opportunities with Whistling Woods International academic departments, industry partners and educational institutions.
- Conduct introductory sessions and demonstrations of the Emerging Media Lab for visiting guests, industry professionals and faculty, and communicate the Lab's facilities and initiatives.
- Manage and maintain Lab equipment and technical resources, ensuring their proper usage,
upkeep and availability for academic and research activities.
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, practicals, projects and examination papers as per academic guidelines.
- Take up any other responsibilities required for the smooth functioning and growth of the Whistling Woods International Emerging Media Lab.
Who Can Apply
- Graduate with good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic technical knowledge or an understanding of media, Virtual Production, Motion Capture, Virtual Reality or other emerging technologies.
- Freshers with a solid interest in emerging media technologies are welcome to apply.
- Candidates who are comfortable working in a technical, academic and production-oriented environment will be preferred.
