Key Responsibilities

- Handle mechanical maintenance of DRI plant equipment and machinery.
- Carry out preventive, breakdown, and routine maintenance activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as Rotary Kiln, Cooler, Gearbox, Fans, Conveyors, Pumps, Crushers and Material Handling Systems.
- Identify mechanical problems and ensure quick breakdown resolution.
- Monitor equipment condition and minimize machine downtime.
- Coordinate with operators and other departments during maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and spare-parts requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures and plant maintenance standards.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in DRI / Sponge Iron / Steel Plant Mechanical Maintenance.
- Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in shift operations.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
