SEO Intern – Digital Marketing

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is ideal for students and freshers who want practical experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, keyword research, and website optimization.

You will work on real client projects and learn how SEO strategies are planned, implemented, and monitored.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Perform on-page SEO activities such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
- Assist with off-page SEO and white-hat link-building activities.
- Create and optimize SEO-friendly content.
- Perform competitor and SERP analysis.
- Assist with local SEO and business directory submissions.
- Identify basic website SEO issues and report them to the SEO team.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and SEO performance.
- Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Assist in backlink research, analysis, and outreach.
- Maintain SEO reports and task sheets.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and current SEO best practices.

Requirements

- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
- Knowledge of keyword research and on-page SEO.
- Good written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Google Search and how websites work.




- Familiarity with WordPress is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Google Search Console / Google Analytics is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and work on real projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks.
