Analyst- Micro Biologist

Position Overview

We are looking for a fresher Jr. Microbiologist for the Microbiology Department of our NABL-accredited testing laboratory. The candidate should have solid knowledge of microbiological concepts, laboratory operations. The candidate should be willing to learn while ensuring compliance with NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) requirements and laboratory SOPs

Key responsibilities:

- Maintain the laboratory and its activities as per SOPs.
- Receive and handle samples accurately.
- Perform testing as assigned.
- Maintain records for verification, intermediate checks, performance verification, preventive maintenance, and equipment history.
- Manage records for receiving, handling, and storage of chemicals, CRM, reagents, and supplements.
- Maintain critical records.Conduct testing as per standard, customer-prescribed, and in-house methods ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Update raw data, logbooks, and chemical preparation records.
- Maintain daily temperature, balance, oven, autoclave and muffle furnace records.




- Record results in observation sheets as assigned.Ensure timely calibration of instruments.
- Follow Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for safe handling and disposal of chemicals and microbial waste.
- Support budgetary control within the department.
- Participate in training sessions and development programs.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and disinfection of the laboratory and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement of testing procedures, laboratory efficiency, and quality systems.

Qualification

M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Microbiology, Life Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Eligibility

- Freshers only
- Strong preference for candidates with food testing / food matrix knowledge.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL-accredited laboratory is a plus.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
