Job Description – SAP FICO Consultant

Role Summary

HANSAI is looking for an SAP FICO Consultant with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation, rollout and support projects. The candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Financial Accounting and Controlling, along with good business-process understanding.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide SAP FICO L2 and L3 functional support.
- Handle configuration, testing and documentation for FI and CO processes.
- Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade and support projects.
- Analyse business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting.
- Support Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
- Resolve month-end and year-end closing issues.
- Work with MM, SD, PS, PM and ABAP teams on integration requirements.
- Prepare test scripts, user manuals and process documents.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support and end-user training.
- Manage change requests, incident resolution and transport coordination.

Required Skills

- Minimum two years of relevant SAP FICO experience.




- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Robust knowledge of FI–MM and FI–SD integration.
- Understanding of taxation, withholding tax, banking and statutory reporting.
- Ability to independently analyse and resolve functional issues.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
- Good communication, documentation and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to support international clients across different time zones when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- At least one SAP implementation or rollout project.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation and international rollouts.
- SAP FICO certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in mining, manufacturing or project-based industries is preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
