Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Incharge – Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) to manage the smooth and efficient operation of water and wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in operating ZLD, ETP, Stripper, MEE, RO and secondary treatment systems, along with excellent customer coordination, team management and safety practices.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring plant performance in terms of quality, quantity, safety and operational efficiency, while driving preventive maintenance, process improvements and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the treatment plant and achieve performance targets in terms of quality and quantity with minimum customer complaints.
- Conduct regular technical training for O&M; team members and maintain proper training records at site.
- Monitor site operations and ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance with minimal intervention from Area In-Charges.
- Develop and maintain strong qualified relationships with customers.
- Coordinate with the Area In-Charge on business development opportunities within O&M; sites and support year-on-year business growth.
- Prepare and submit monthly site performance and operational reports to the Head Office through the Area In-Charge.
- Ensure timely submission of bills and support timely payment collection.
- Develop second-line Site In-Charges to strengthen operational monitoring, manpower utilization,



process development and customer relationship management.
- Identify and implement value-addition and cost-saving initiatives, particularly in chemical consumption, power consumption and process efficiency.
- Document value-addition initiatives and improvements in monthly reports.
- Conduct safety training for site employees and ensure 100% safety compliance at the site.
- Identify training requirements of site employees in coordination with HR and facilitate behavioural, technical and motivational training programs.
- Coordinate with customers and Area In-Charges on a daily basis regarding plant activities and operational requirements.
- Support the Area In-Charge in maintaining required manpower and operational levels at O&M; sites.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, safety standards and customer requirements.

Required Experience

- 5–6 years of relevant experience in operation and maintenance of water/wastewater treatment plants.
- Hands-on experience in operating ZLD / ETP systems, including:
- Stripper
- MEE (Multiple Effect Evaporator)
- RO (Reverse Osmosis)
- Secondary treatment systems
- Activated Sludge Process
- Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)
- Experience in team handling, customer coordination and site operations will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of plant operations, preventive maintenance, safety and process optimization.
