Job Description

The OT Technician is responsible for preparing and supporting the operation theatre at Remedy Cancer Care, ensuring surgical procedures run smoothly and safely. The role involves close coordination with surgeons and nursing staff, along with careful management of OT equipment, sterilization, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

- OT Preparation: Prepare the operation theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring readiness at all times.
- Sterilization & Equipment: Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment, and ensure proper functioning and maintenance of OT equipment.
- Surgical Support:



Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations, including patient positioning and support as directed.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict hygiene and infection control standards within the OT at all times.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of surgical supplies and consumables, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to OT procedures and equipment usage.

Qualifications

- Education: Diploma in OT Technician.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience of working as First Assistant in a reputed hospital or surgical setting.
- Domain: Sound knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instruments, and OT protocols.
- Skills: Solid attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and good coordination and teamwork skills.
- Languages: Fluent in Hindi or Urdu.
