Purchase Manager

Location: New Friends Colony (South Delhi)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for products, raw materials, dry goods for FMCG (water).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, timelines, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency.
- Maintain and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborate with production, warehousing, logistics, and finance teams for smooth supply chain operations.
- Manage and resolve supplier issues or delays while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Implement process improvements to enhance procurement cycles and cost control.
- Maintain and update the supplier and procurement database with accurate records of vendors, pricing, and materials.
- Search, identify, and evaluate current vendors for raw materials, packaging materials,



and other operational requirements.
- Conduct negotiations on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Be open to visiting markets, suppliers, and manufacturing locations for price checks, quality assessments, and vendor verification.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a Commerce background (B.Com or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and basic supply chain processes.
- Good communication in English, negotiation, and analytical skills.
