Key Responsibilities
A. Training Planning & Batch Delivery
- Prepare batch-wise session plans, lesson plans and practical schedules in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Deliver theory and practical sessions using demonstrations, guided practice, exercises, workplace examples and job sheets.
- Maintain an appropriate balance between conceptual understanding and hands-on skill development.
- Ensure training is delivered according to the approved course curriculum, learning outcomes and prescribed training hours.
- Identify learner gaps early and provide remedial training, additional practice and individual support.
- Coordinate with the Centre Head to ensure uninterrupted availability of tools, consumables, equipment and training resources.
B. Technical Training
- Teach the principles and sequence of wire harness pre-assembly operations.
- Demonstrate wire cutting, stripping, measurement and crimping according to assembly requirements.
- Train learners to interpret assembly requirements, diagrams, job sheets and specifications.
- Demonstrate assembly of pre-assembled wires and components on a laying board as per the required layout.
C. Practical Lab / Workshop Management
- Ensure practical sessions are conducted in a secure and organised laboratory/workshop environment.
- Check readiness and condition of wires, terminals, crimping equipment, soldering tools, laying boards, measuring instruments and testing devices before practical sessions.
- Maintain tool/equipment issue and usage discipline and report shortages or defects.
- Ensure learners follow workstation discipline and return tools/equipment after use.
- Coordinate with the Centre Head for replenishment of consumables and maintenance/calibration of equipment where applicable.
D. Learner Assessment & Certification Readiness
- Conduct formative assessments, practical observations, quizzes, assignments and mock practical exercises to measure learner progress.
- Maintain learner-wise performance records and identify candidates requiring remedial intervention.
- Prepare learners for theory, practical and viva components of the external/official assessment.
- Conduct mock tests and practical demonstrations aligned with the relevant NOS and performance criteria.
- Ensure learners understand assessment procedures, documentation and expected workplace standards.
- Coordinate with the centre's assessment/QA function; do not represent formative assessment as the official third-party certification assessment.
E. Training Records & MIS Support
- Maintain daily session plans, lesson completion records, practical records, learner performance sheets and trainer records as prescribed.
- Provide accurate training-related data to the MIS Executive within the required timeline.
- Ensure attendance and training-progress records are consistent with actual delivery.
- Maintain evidence of practical demonstrations, assessments and remedial training where required.
- Support Q-Team/inspection visits by providing training records, lesson plans, practical evidence and equipment information.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
