We are looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to teach students from Grades 7 to 9. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of English and be capable of developing students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, speaking, and communication skills.

The teacher should use interactive and engaging teaching methods to build students' confidence and interest in the English language and literature.

Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to students of Grades 7–9 as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and study materials.
- Develop students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
- Encourage creative writing, storytelling, discussions, presentations, and public speaking.
- Teach English literature and language concepts effectively.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct remedial and doubt-clearing sessions for students who require additional support.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and proper examination preparation.
- Guide students in language activities, debates, elocution, quizzes, and literary competitions.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and interactive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate academic and student performance records.
- Communicate students' academic progress with parents and academic coordinators.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Use digital teaching tools and innovative teaching methods to improve student engagement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English / English Literature or a related field.
- B.Ed. preferred/required as per school norms.




- 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar and literature.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods.
- Must be available for immediate joining.

Preferred Skills

- Experience teaching English in a CBSE school.
- Good understanding of CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Experience preparing worksheets, question papers, and revision materials.
- Ability to conduct debates, storytelling, elocution, and literary activities.
- Smart classroom and digital teaching experience.
- Strong presentation and student engagement skills.
