Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsperson / Structural CAD Designer to prepare accurate and professional RCC and structural steel drawings for building and structural projects.

The candidate should have valuable knowledge of structural drafting, detailing, drawing standards, and the ability to understand structural design drawings and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed RCC structural drawings for buildings and other structures.
- Prepare structural steel drawings, including framing and connection details.
- Prepare foundation, footing, column, beam and slab drawings.
- Prepare RCC reinforcement detailing and bar bending details.
- Prepare structural plans, elevations, sections and details.
- Prepare steel fabrication and erection drawings.
- Develop structural drawings based on structural engineer's design and calculations.
- Read and understand structural design drawings, sketches and engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and project/site teams.
- Revise drawings based on engineer/client comments.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations and revisions.
- Prepare accurate drawings for construction and fabrication purposes.
- Ensure drawings are clear, accurate and comply with project requirements.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Positive understanding of RCC structural detailing.




- Good understanding of structural steel detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Knowledge of reinforcement detailing for beams, columns, slabs, footings and shear walls.
- Knowledge of steel members, connections, base plates, bolts and welds.
- Knowledge of structural drawing standards and construction practices.
- Knowledge of Revit Structure / Tekla Structures will be an advantage.
- Ability to work with structural engineers and understand design requirements.

- RCC framing plans
- Foundation and footing drawings
- Column and beam reinforcement drawings
- Slab reinforcement drawings
- Staircase structural drawings
- Shear wall detailing
- Steel framing drawings
- Steel connection details
- Fabrication drawings
- Erection drawings
- Shop drawings

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong attention to detail.
- Good drawing and technical understanding.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to complete drawings within project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new software and drafting standards.
- Candidates with experience in structural consultancy or construction projects will be preferred.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant structural drafting experience are encouraged to apply.
