extile Designer – Collection Development

Role Summary

GM Fabrics is looking for a creative Textile Designer to develop fresh and commercially viable collections for curtains, upholstery, embroidery, and sheer fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, design stories, and colour palettes based on global trends and market insights.
- Create original textile designs aligned with buyer and commercial requirements.
- Select suitable weaves, textures, fabric constructions, materials, and colourways.
- Curate designs into coordinated and cohesive product collections.
- Work closely with weaving, technical, sampling, merchandising, and product-development teams.




- Develop customised collections based on buyer briefs.
- Support collection styling, photoshoots, catalogues, launches, and showroom displays.

Candidate Profile

- NID/NIFT graduate with 3–4 years of experience in the home-furnishing industry.
- Solid knowledge of international trends, colour forecasting, weaving techniques, and fabric construction.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and textile/CAD software.
- Creative, commercially aware, and equipped with good presentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
