About the Role
We are looking for an HR Intern who wants to learn how HR works across different areas of an organisation. This role will provide hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, payroll, performance management, and other HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with sourcing and screening candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Maintain candidate trackers and recruitment records.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees.
2. HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with attendance, leave, and employee data management.
- Support HRMS activities and employee queries.
- Assist in preparing HR letters, documents, and reports.
3. Employee Engagement
- Support planning and execution of employee engagement activities, celebrations, and events.
- Assist in collecting employee feedback and coordinating internal initiatives.
4. Payroll & Compliance
- Assist in collecting and validating payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, incentives, and deductions.
- Learn and support basic HR statutory processes such as PF, ESIC, LWF, and other compliance activities.
- Coordinate with employees for payroll-related queries when required.
5. Performance Management
- Assist in the performance appraisal process and maintaining KRA/KPI records.
- Support performance review documentation and follow-ups.
6. Learning & Development
- Assist in organising training sessions and maintaining training records.
- Coordinate with employees and trainers for training requirements.
7. HR Policies & Process
- Support in drafting and updating HR policies, SOPs, and internal communication.
- Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
8. General HR Support
- Handle day-to-day HR activities and employee queries.
- Prepare HR reports, trackers, and MIS as required.
- Work closely with the HR team on ongoing projects and initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment.
