Job Summary

Role Summary
Owns the end-to-end solution design for the OMX platform — the event-driven microservices core spanning Order Capture, Orchestration, Purchase Order, Shipments, and Business Rules — engineered to absorb 20M+ orders/month.
Key Responsibilities

- Define the end-to-end OMX solution architecture: Spring Boot microservices on GKE, event-driven integration via Solace Pub/Sub, and API access via Azure APIM
- Architect the workflow and business-rules-engine layer (Temporal orchestration; Drools or config-driven JSON/YAML rules)
- Design the transactional and caching data architecture (AlloyDB system of record, Redis caching)
- Design for scalability and resilience: horizontal autoscaling, back-pressure, idempotency, DLQs, and safe/governed event replay
- Guide domain-aligned microservice boundaries, API/event contracts, and independent scaling/release per service
- Provide sign-off on development and testing deliverables against the architecture; resolve architecture-level decisions via the ADR log
