Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Should have a clear understanding of manual transmission and it`s sub systems (shift system, synchronizers, gears, bearings etc)
Should have work experience in gears, shaft & bearings with knowledge of KISS SOFT/ROMAX software.
Should have a hands-on experience of 3D CAD software (Catia preferred)
Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T;
BOM preparation and maintaining (TC awareness preferred)
Adequate knowledge in DFMEA, DFM, DFC and DFS
Adequate knowledge of gear manufacturing process & materials.
Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development
Versatile to work with CFT and address the vehicle level integration concerns




Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team; ability to deal with validation team for validation concerns and support
Knowledge of root cause analysis, G8D for concern resolution
Time Management for self & CFT for on time delivery of the project
