Qualification:
B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or related field
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing production workplace.
Job Summary:
The AM Engineer will be responsible for handling additive manufacturing activities including machine operation, design preparation, reverse engineering, build preparation, post-processing coordination, quality checks, and documentation. The candidate should have practical experience in AM technologies such as DMLS, SLS, SLM, FDM, and related post-processing methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage Additive Manufacturing machines such as LPBF-DMLS, SLS, SLM, FDM and CMM machines.
- Prepare build files, machine setup, job planning, and process execution.
- Support reverse engineering activities including 3D scanning, File correction, and CAD/model preparation.
- Work on design modification, DfAM support, and part orientation strategy.
- Coordinate post-processing activities such as support removal, cleaning, finishing, heat treatment, and inspection.
- Maintain production records, build reports, material usage data, and machine logbooks.
- Ensure proper handling of powders, materials,
and machine safety procedures.
- Quality inspection and dimensional verification of printed parts.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and machine service teams when required.
- Prepare reports, presentations, quotations, and technical documentation using MS Office tools.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with LPBF-DMLS, SLS, SLM, FDM, reverse engineering, design, and post-processing.
- Knowledge of AM workflow from design to final part delivery.
- Knowledge of CAD, STL file handling and build preparation software.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and general documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle production planning and machine-related troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to AM machines and powder handling will be preferred.
Preferred Profile:
Candidate with 2-3 years of practical industry experience in AM machine operations, CNC/production environment, reverse engineering, and post-processing will be preferred.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
