Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead our Human Resources department. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end HR management, with a primary focus on HR policy formulation, implementation and compliance for our growing team of 250+ employees. You will serve as the strategic bridge between management and employees, driving organisational culture, talent retention, and operational scalability.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. HR Policy Formulation & Implementation
Draft, update and implement standard HR policies
Benchmark existing policies against industry standards to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organisational goals.
Design SOPs for all HR functions and ensure organisation-wide adoption.
Conduct orientation sessions to ensure total employee alignment with company policies and compliance standards.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in compliance with labour laws, the Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, MSME act etc.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs and team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
3. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Meet recruitment pipelines for headcount requirements across various departments.
Standardise interview processes,
job descriptions and offer management.
Deliver an effective onboarding experience that reduces early-stage turnover and accelerates productivity for recent hires.
4. Performance & Career Management
Administer quarterly and annual Performance Appraisal Systems.
Assist department managers in identifying skill gaps and managing performance improvement plans.
Establish clear career growth ladders and internal progression frameworks.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to national and state labour laws, statutory compliances and workplace safety regulations.
Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel records, leave management and attendance data.
Manage payroll processing, benefits administration and tax compliances.
Expected Experience & Qualifications
Total Experience - 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in core HR roles.
Company Scale - Proven experience managing HR operations in a company with 150+ employees (mandatory).
Policy Expertise - Hands-on experience drafting HR handbooks, policy manuals and implementing them from scratch.
Education - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA HR preferred).
Knowledge Base - In-depth understanding of statutory compliances, employment laws and grievance handling.
Key Skills & Competencies
Policy Architecture: Ability to structure legal and operational guidelines into clear, actionable employee handbooks.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental alignment.
Stakeholder Management: Comfortable advising leadership on people management and compliance risks.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with strong empathy and conflict resolution capabilities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
