Procurement Process Analyst – Process Mapping & Microsoft Visio

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Process Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Visio and a solid understanding of end-to-end procurement processes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with procurement, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to document As-Is and To-Be processes, identify process gaps and inefficiencies, and develop clear, detailed process maps, swimlane diagrams, flowcharts, SOPs, and process documentation.

The candidate should be comfortable conducting remote workshops and translating complex business discussions into accurate and easy-to-understand process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct workshops and discussions with procurement, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to understand processes, responsibilities, systems, controls, and approval requirements.
- Create detailed As-Is and To-Be process maps, cross-functional swimlane diagrams, and flowcharts using Microsoft Visio.
- Document end-to-end procurement workflows, including:
- Vendor identification, qualification, onboarding, and vendor master management.
- Strategic sourcing and RFI/RFP/RFQ processes.
- Bid evaluation, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Purchase requisitions, approval workflows, purchase orders, and goods/service receipts.
- Invoice matching, exception handling, and Accounts Payable coordination.
- Vendor performance management, renewals, risk reviews, and offboarding.
- Capture process steps, decision points, handoffs, controls, exceptions, dependencies, and process ownership.
- Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks, duplicate activities, control gaps, and opportunities for standardization and improvement.
- Develop supporting SOPs, process narratives, and responsibility/RACI matrices.




- Validate process documentation with relevant stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Support procurement transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and consistent process documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Visio, including creating detailed business process maps, flowcharts, and swimlane diagrams.
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Practical knowledge of vendor management, sourcing, RFP/RFQ lifecycles, purchasing, invoicing, and contract management.
- Ability to translate stakeholder discussions and business requirements into clear and accurate process documentation.
- Experience mapping complex, cross-functional workflows involving multiple teams, systems, approvals, and exception scenarios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate remote workshops with distributed teams.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with BPMN and standard process-mapping methodologies.
- Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar ERP/procurement systems.
- Experience supporting procurement transformation, process improvement, shared services, or business process optimization initiatives.
- Knowledge of process documentation standards, SOP development, and RACI/responsibility matrices.

Candidate Evaluation Requirement

Candidates must be able to walk through a procurement process map they personally created. They should be able to clearly explain:

- Process flow and major activities.
- Decision points and approval hierarchies.
- Cross-functional handoffs.
- Controls and compliance requirements.
- Exceptions and alternate process scenarios.
- Process ownership and responsibilities.

Strong Microsoft Visio expertise and practical procurement process knowledge are essential for this role.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
