The CCTV Observer will be responsible for continuously monitoring CCTV cameras across the residential campus during the night shift. The candidate should be highly alert, responsible, and capable of identifying unusual activities and immediately communicating them to the concerned authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor CCTV cameras continuously during the night shift.
- Keep a close watch on hostel areas, campus premises, entry and exit points, corridors, common areas, and other key locations.
- Identify suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activities through CCTV surveillance.
- Immediately report any security concern, emergency, or unusual incident to the concerned supervisor/security team.
- Maintain proper records of incidents observed during the shift.
- Review CCTV footage when required for incident verification or investigation.
- Ensure CCTV cameras are functioning properly and report technical issues promptly.
- Monitor movement of students, staff, visitors, and vehicles as per campus security procedures.
- Coordinate with night security guards and hostel staff whenever required.
- Maintain confidentiality of CCTV footage and campus-related information.
- Prepare shift reports and hand over important observations to the next shift/team.
- Follow all campus safety, security, and discipline procedures.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in CCTV monitoring/surveillance.
- Previous experience in a school, residential campus, hostel, hotel, hospital, commercial establishment, or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the night shift.




- Good observation and concentration skills.
- Ability to identify and report unusual activities accurately.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Ability to operate CCTV monitoring and playback systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and trustworthy.
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
