Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to drive field sales and business growth by identifying new customers, developing relationships, and generating sales within the assigned territory. The role involves extensive field visits to coaching classes, bookstores, schools, and educational institutions, along with lead generation, client meetings, product presentations, negotiations, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily field visits to schools, coaching classes, bookstores, and educational institutions within the assigned territory.
Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, networking, references, and market research.
Meet decision-makers, understand their requirements, and present relevant products and solutions.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, negotiations, and sales pitches to convert leads into customers.
Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and prospects to ensure successful conversions and sales.
Manage the assigned territory and ensure maximum market coverage, including nearby areas when required.
Study market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements to identify new sales opportunities.
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly,
and annual sales targets and take necessary steps to improve performance.
Maintain accurate records of field visits, leads, meetings, follow-ups, sales, and conversions, and submit regular reports.
Build strong client relationships, provide post-sales support, resolve customer concerns, and collect feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
Education: Any Graduate; degree/diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field will be an advantage.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in field sales, business development, B2B sales, or a related role.
Experience in Education, Publishing, EdTech, or similar industries will be preferred.
Solid communication, negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
Comfortable with extensive field travel and client meetings.
Ability to independently manage an assigned territory.
Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
A valid two-wheeler and driving licence would be an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
