Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation frameworks, API testing, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into automation test scenarios.
- Develop and execute regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to identify and resolve defects.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Track, log, and monitor defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain automation test reports and documentation.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
Required Skills
- Robust experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver .
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# .
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or BDD frameworks .
- Good understanding of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience with Git , Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOp
