Part-Time English Teacher – Intermediate

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time English Teacher to teach Intermediate students (Classes XI & XII). The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, strengthening students' language and communication skills, and preparing them effectively for board examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English for Intermediate students.
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging classroom lessons.
- Cover the prescribed Intermediate English syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Prepare students for board examinations, including important question patterns and examination strategies.
- Develop students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, and revision sessions.
- Evaluate assignments, answer scripts, and student performance.
- Provide individual guidance and academic support to students who require additional assistance.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus completion, assessments, and student progress.
- Stay updated with the Intermediate curriculum and examination requirements.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in English (M.A. English) preferred.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.




- Prior experience teaching Intermediate / Classes XI & XII is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and language skills.
- Valuable communication and classroom management skills.

Experience

- 2–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Candidates with strong subject knowledge and relevant Intermediate teaching experience may also be considered.

- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and effective manner.

- Ability to prepare students for examinations and improve academic performance.

Working Arrangement

- Part-Time Position
- Teaching schedule will be based on the Intermediate academic timetable.
- Candidates should be available for scheduled classes, assessments, and revision sessions as required.

Salary

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualification, experience, and subject expertise.
