Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Developer with 2–3 years of experience to join our team. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for hardware-related development, integration, testing, and support in the context of our learning technology solutions and infrastructure. You will handle the full spectrum of hardware development duties, working closely with software, product, and operations teams across our Delhi and Roorkee offices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, prototype, and test hardware components, circuits, and systems required for Athena LMS products, tools, or supporting infrastructure.
- Manage the complete hardware development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and schematic design to PCB layout, component selection, assembly, and validation.
- Perform hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis; implement fixes and improvements.
- Integrate hardware with software systems, firmware, sensors, IoT modules, or learning-related devices as needed.
- Conduct rigorous testing (functional, performance, environmental, reliability)



and ensure hardware meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software developers, product managers, QA, and operations) to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Maintain detailed documentation including schematics, BOMs, test reports, design files, and technical specifications.
- Support production, procurement, vendor coordination, and on-site hardware setup/maintenance across Delhi and Roorkee locations.
- Stay updated with emerging hardware technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to EdTech and learning systems.
- Handle all day-to-day hardware-related tasks and take ownership of hardware deliverables end-to-end.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in hardware design, development, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, ESP, Raspberry Pi, etc.), sensors, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools (e.g., KiCad, Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD).
- Experience with soldering, prototyping, oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Familiarity with firmware basics, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth),



and hardware-software interfacing.
- Good understanding of power management, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel/work on a 15-days Delhi + 15-days Roorkee rotating schedule (Work From Office only).
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Experience with IoT hardware, educational/lab equipment, or EdTech-related devices.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling/printing for enclosures or mechanical design basics.
- Prior exposure to product development lifecycle or working in a startup/EdTech environment.
- Basic understanding of cloud/edge computing hardware or AI-edge devices.
