We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee the stock and material flow at our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for ensuring that production lines never stop due to missing materials, while simultaneously minimizing excess stock and holding costs.The ideal candidate has solid analytical skills, experience with raw materials, and expertise in using ERP/MRP systems to optimize supply chains.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Control & Availability

- Monitor stock levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Ensure production line continuity by preventing stockouts of critical manufacturing components.
- Implement and manage safety stock levels based on production schedules and lead times.

Systems & Tracking

- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Manage tracking methods such as FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO, particularly for materials with shelf lives.
- Document and investigate inventory discrepancies, scrap rates, and material waste.

Auditing & Optimization

- Lead regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits.




- Analyze production data to forecast future material needs and optimize warehouse space.
- Identify and liquidate obsolete, slow-moving, or dead stock to free up capital.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with the Production Planning team to align material delivery with manufacturing schedules.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Manager to initiate timely replenishment orders.
- Oversee receiving and warehouse teams to ensure incoming raw materials are inspected and logged correctly.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 7- 8+ years of inventory management experience, specifically within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related technical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,290.13 - ₹70,057.48 per month
