Pharmacist Responsibilities:

Looking for Hospital Pharmacist

· Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.

· Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.

· Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.

· Conducting health and wellness screenings.

· Keeping accurate customer records.

· Ensuring a secure and clean working environment.

· Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.

· Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.

· Performing other administrative tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting Patients and Visitors: The receptionist is often the first point of contact, welcoming patients and providing necessary information and direction.

Managing Phone Calls: Handling incoming calls, directing them to appropriate departments, and addressing patient inquiries.

Appointment Scheduling: Organizing and scheduling patient appointments to ensure efficient use of hospital resources.

Patient Records Management: Accurately maintaining and updating patient records, including personal details and medical history.





Billing and Insurance Processing: Assisting patients with billing inquiries and processing insurance forms.

Providing Information: Offering information about hospital services, visiting hours, and patient status while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.

Liaising with Medical Staff: Coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.

General Administrative Duties: Performing clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry to support hospital operations.

Basic Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Understanding medical terms to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
