Roles & Responsibilities: -

The key responsibilities include leading the design and engineering of biogas and CBG plant projects from concept to execution. This role demands a thorough understanding of process engineering, plant design, and environmental regulations specific to anaerobic digestion and gas upgrading systems. The candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical soundness, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.

· Design Development: Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to develop detailed design drawings and plans for biogas plants and related equipment. This may include process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;), general arrangement drawings, equipment layouts, structural drawings, piping drawings (2D and Isometric), and tanks drawings Review and approve basic and detailed engineering documents from internal teams or EPC vendors. Ensure compliance with national and international codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, PNGRB guidelines).

· Project Engineering Support:

Provide technical support during feasibility studies, costing, tendering, and proposal development.

Liaise with procurement for technical bid evaluations and vendor finalization.





Support construction and commissioning teams by resolving design and engineering issues.

· Team and Stakeholder Coordination:

Coordinate with internal teams (project, procurement, execution) and external stakeholders (consultants, vendors, statutory bodies).

Lead and mentor a team of design engineers and draftsmen.

· Regulatory & Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all design and engineering activities comply with safety standards, statutory norms, and environmental regulations.

Review and incorporate safety studies such as HAZOP and Risk Assessments into design deliverables.

· Core Competencies:

· Leadership: Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and interface effectively with management.

· Project Management: Strong skills in planning, organizing, and executing engineering tasks within timeline and budget.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Decision-Making: Effective in making sound engineering decisions under time constraints and energetic project conditions.
