Special Educator – Early Years & Inclusive Education

Birla Open Minds Pre School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow is looking for a compassionate, skilled and experienced Special Educator to support children with diverse developmental, learning, behavioural, communication and sensory needs in an inclusive early-years environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Observe and understand individual children's developmental, learning, behavioural and sensory needs.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans/IEPs, wherever required.
- Support children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, speech & language concerns, sensory needs, behavioural concerns and learning difficulties.
- Work closely with class teachers to ensure children are meaningfully included in classroom activities and routines.
- Provide practical strategies for behaviour management, communication, participation and transitions.
- Maintain regular records of observations, interventions and children's progress.
- Guide and sensitise teachers and support staff regarding individual children's needs.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's progress and support strategies.




- Coordinate with parents and external professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and other specialists when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold a respectful, child-centred approach.

Candidate Profile:

- B.Ed. Special Education / relevant recognised qualification
- RCI Registration/Certification to be verified, wherever applicable
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Preschool/Early Years or Inclusive Education experience will be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory and behavioural needs.
- Patient, empathetic, observant and confident in handling young children.
- Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills.
- Believes in inclusion rather than isolation and is comfortable working collaboratively with teachers and parents.

Job Details:

Location: Gomti Nagar, Lucknow
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Experience: 2–5 years preferred
Salary: As per candidate's qualification, experience, skills and suitability.

Pay: From ₹8,000.00 per month
