Amrita Vidyalayam, Madurai is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting systems, strong knowledge of statutory compliance, and the ability to handle budgeting, payroll, and audits efficiently.

Pay: ₹20,000 – ₹24,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Prepare and manage budgets, expense reports, and internal audits.
- Ensure proper bookkeeping and adherence to double-entry accounting practices.
- Handle monthly payroll processing and account reconciliation.
- Calculate and file statutory components such as ESI, PF, TDS, and other returns.
- Manage fee collections, vendor payments, and financial transactions.
- Operate and maintain accounts using Tally software.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.





Candidate Requirements

- Proficiency in Tally and accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing, and budgeting.
- Experience in handling ESI, PF, TDS, and statutory filings.
- Pursuing or completed Intermediate Cost Accounting (CMA/ICWA Inter).
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical and organizational skills.
