Job description

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 1 year of relevant experience to support our mechanical engineering team in designing and developing automation machinery, Special Purpose Machines, fixtures, tooling, and related mechanical systems.

The candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers and contribute to 3D modelling, detailed drawings, BOM preparation, design modifications, fabrication coordination, and project execution.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Assist in developing mechanical concepts and machine layouts.
- Support the design of machine structures, fixtures, jigs, conveyors, and mechanical mechanisms.
- Prepare and update BOMs and engineering documentation.
- Assist in selecting standard mechanical components.
- Make design modifications based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with fabrication and manufacturing vendors when required.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacturing.
- Support assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning activities.




- Coordinate with electrical and automation teams for mechanical interfaces.
- Complete assigned design activities within project timelines.

Requirements:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1+ year experience in Mechanical Design.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or Creo.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, tolerances, machine components, and manufacturing processes.
- Industrial Automation/SPM experience is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
