JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Summary

Task Force Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee factory and production operations, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality interior fit-out, furniture, modular furniture, and joinery products.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in production planning, factory operations, manpower management, material optimization, quality control, cost management, and production software.

The candidate must have practical experience using MaxCut and SketchUp for furniture production planning, cut-list preparation, material optimization, and understanding furniture/interior production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and manage daily production activities in coordination with project requirements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Prepare and monitor production plans, work schedules, and manufacturing priorities.
- Review production drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and cutting requirements.
- Prepare and verify cut lists and material optimization using MaxCut.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Stores, Quality, and Project Execution teams.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize material wastage.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process and minimize rework and rejection.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Manage factory manpower, allocate responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
- Monitor machinery, tools, equipment, and production capacity.
- Control production costs through efficient material and manpower utilization.
- Maintain proper production documentation, records, and reports.
- Track production KPIs, including productivity, wastage, rejection, rework, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, and compliance with company safety procedures.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives across factory and production operations.

Software & Technical Skills – Mandatory

The candidate must have hands-on experience with the following production-related software:

1. MaxCut – Mandatory

- Practical experience in MaxCut is compulsory.
- Ability to prepare cutting lists and optimize sheet/material cutting layouts.
- Knowledge of material optimization and wastage reduction.
- Ability to plan cutting requirements based on production drawings and material specifications.

2. SketchUp – Mandatory

- Hands-on experience with SketchUp is compulsory.
- Ability to understand and interpret furniture models, components, dimensions, and interior production requirements.
- Ability to review 3D furniture/interior models and coordinate production requirements with the Design team.

3. AutoCAD

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing technical drawings, shop drawings, furniture drawings, and production details.
- Ability to interpret dimensions, specifications, sections, elevations, and construction details.

4. ERP / Production Management Software

- Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, production planning, or manufacturing management software.
- Ability to track production status, material requirements, inventory, and production performance.

5. MS Office

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong Excel skills for production reports, material tracking, productivity analysis, and MIS reporting.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in Production Management / Factory Operations.
- Strong experience in Interior Fit-Out, Furniture Manufacturing, Modular Furniture, Joinery, or related manufacturing operations.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in MaxCut and SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing and joinery production processes.




- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, production drawings, shop drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, material planning, quality control, inventory management, and factory operations.
- Strong understanding of material utilization, wastage control, and production cost optimization.
- Proven ability to manage factory manpower and production teams.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Design, Procurement, Stores, Quality, and Project Execution teams.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple production priorities.

Preferred Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in furniture manufacturing, joinery, modular furniture, or interior fit-out production will be preferred.
