International Admission Counsellor – Job Description

Job Title: International Admission Counsellor
Department: Student Counselling / Overseas Education
Experience: 3–5 years ( International sales experience )
Location: Andheri
Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Counsel students regarding study-abroad programs, universities, courses, and countries.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, budget, and preferences.
- Recommend suitable universities and programs based on eligibility.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes, and timelines.
- Guide students through the complete application and admission process.
- Assist with preparation and checking of documents such as academic certificates, SOPs, LORs, resumes, and financial documents.
- Coordinate with universities and international education partners regarding applications and admission decisions.
- Follow up with students regarding pending documents, applications, offers, and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM/application trackers.
- Support students with visa-process coordination and pre-departure guidance, while following applicable immigration rules.
- Achieve assigned counselling/application/enrolment targets where applicable.




- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.

Required Skills

- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong counselling and convincing skills
- Knowledge of international education/study-abroad processes
- Good understanding of countries such as UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines
- Good follow-up and relationship-management skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM systems
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally

Qualifications

Education: Graduate in any discipline.
Experience in international education, study-abroad counselling, admissions, student recruitment, or education sales is preferred.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
