Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with 3–4 years of relevant experience in the Elevator / Lift Industry. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, engineering drawings, BOM preparation, design calculations, and technical support for elevator components and assemblies.

Relevant experience in the Elevator Industry is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and structures for elevators.
- Prepare accurate 2D & 3D engineering drawings, GA drawings, detail drawings, and BOMs.
- Design and develop Car Frame, Cabin Structure, Car Door, Landing Door, Machine Mounting, and related elevator components.
- Prepare basic engineering calculations related to strength, load, dimensions, and material selection.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable company standards, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Installation, and Service teams for design-related activities.
- Provide technical support and resolve manufacturing, installation, and site-related design issues.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on technical requirements, site conditions, and customer requirements.
- Review drawings and designs for accuracy, manufacturability, and ease of installation.
- Support cost reduction and value-engineering initiatives without compromising product quality and safety.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, BOMs, and revision records.




- Participate in design improvement and standardization of elevator components.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Elevator / Lift Mechanical Design.
- Practical experience in elevator component and assembly design.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of any one 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor.
- Good understanding of sheet metal, fabrication, welding, and structural design.
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards, GD&T;, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design calculations and structural strength.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and installation requirements.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in the Elevator / Lift Industry is mandatory.
- Candidates from general mechanical design backgrounds without relevant elevator industry experience may not be considered.
- Experience in elevator component design, fabrication, and installation-related engineering will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
