Job Overview

IPCS Global is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our team in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for counseling students and parents, handling inquiries, generating leads, following up with prospective students, and converting leads into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and educational programs.
- Handle walk-in, telephone, WhatsApp, and online inquiries.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Generate leads through inquiries, referrals, and promotional activities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Achieve monthly admission and sales targets.
- Maintain accurate student and lead information in the CRM.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Prepare regular follow-up, lead, and admission reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.

Requirements & Skills

- Minimum 1 year of experience in an EdTech firm is mandatory.
- Prior experience in Academic Counseling, Admission Counseling, Inside Sales, or Student Counseling is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, convincing, and negotiation skills.
- Good sales and follow-up abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Solid relationship management skills.
- Good listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Empathetic and student-focused approach.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and educational programs.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
