Pre-Contract Management:

1. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project scope, budget, and timeline requirements.

2. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential contractual issues before agreements are finalized.

3. Participate in the selection process for contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, evaluating proposals and qualifications

4. Develop and maintain realistic and achievable budgets for assigned construction projects.

Contract Development and Negotiation:

1. Draft and review construction contracts, incorporating industry best practices and legal regulations.

2. Negotiate key contract terms with contractors, such as scope of work, pricing, payment schedules, warranties, and termination clauses.

3. Ensure contracts clearly define project deliverables, quality standards, milestones, and performance expectations.

Contract Administration and Management:

1. Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from award to completion and closeout,



maintaining accurate and detailed records.

2. Monitor contractor performance against agreed-upon budgets and timelines, identifying and addressing any deviations promptly.

3. Manage communication with contractors and internal teams regarding contractual issues, clarifications, and potential amendments.

4. Administer and document change orders, ensuring proper authorization and cost adjustments.

5. Identify and proactively resolve contractual disputes through effective communication and negotiation strategies.

Post-Contract Management:

1. Facilitate a smooth project handover upon completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

2. Maintain a comprehensive and organized filing system for all contract documents and records.

3. Analyze contract performance to identify areas for improvement in future negotiations, including budget forecasting.
