Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. This role is crucial for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting SAP technical solutions. Strong exposure to S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in RAP and modern S/4HANA development practices will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications.
- Develop RICEFW objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) and modern ABAP syntax.
- Engage in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA development.
- Develop and maintain CDS Views / CDS View Entities, OData Services, and AMDP.
- Work with BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs/ALE, Function Modules, and APIs.
- Develop and implement BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots.
- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain ALV reports, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and other technical objects.
- Prepare Technical Specification Documents and other technical documentation.




- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
- Adhere to SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and Clean Core/S/4HANA best practices.

Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Core ABAP / OO ABAP.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with ABAP on HANA.
- Proficiency in CDS Views / CDS View Entities.
- Experience with OData Services.
- Solid understanding of RICEFW.
- Experience with BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and the Enhancement Framework.
- Knowledge of BAPI / RFC / Function Modules.
- Familiarity with IDoc / ALE.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable understanding of the SAP development lifecycle and transport management.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with RAP – RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
- AMDP / SQL optimization.
- SAP Gateway.
- SAP Fiori / Fiori Elements.
- Adobe Forms / Smart Forms.
- Eclipse / ADT.
- SAP BTP / ABAP Cloud.
- Experience with S/4HANA migration, conversion, upgrade, or custom-code remediation.
- Knowledge of Clean Core principles and ATC.
