Job Summary:

The Civil Aviation and Space team is seeking a dynamic and motivated member to join its team. The Mid Specialist will work on key investment projects in the sector, undertake investor facilitation through subject matter expertise and data analysis, and build sectoral, sub-sector, and product collaterals for both sectors. This role offers a unique prospect to contribute to India's FDI agenda in a priority sector, gain exposure to industry

stakeholders and technological advancements, develop project management capabilities, and build a strong investment pipeline.

Role Overview

This is an entry-to-mid level role focused on research, ecosystem mapping, and investment promotion activities pertaining to the Civil Aviation and Space

ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic advisory and investment facilitation: Provide comprehensive strategic advisory services to civil aviation and space companies evaluating investment

opportunities in India.

2. Research and market analysis: Conduct structured desk research across civil aviation (airlines, airports, aircraft and component manufacturing, MRO) and space (satellite manufacturing, launch services, ground systems, and downstream applications); track market trends, investments, key players, and emerging technologies.

3. Market intelligence and reporting: Assist in developing market intelligence outputs, including demand assessments, competitive landscape mapping, and ecosystem analysis, to inform internal and external stakeholders.

4. Stakeholder coordination: Support coordination with internal teams, industry participants, and ecosystem partners to gather inputs, organise meetings, and track follow-ups related to ongoing engagements.

Partnership and ecosystem mapping: Help map relevant ecosystem players such as OEMs, MRO providers, component and technology vendors, and service partners, and maintain updated databases to support project execution.

6. Outreach and knowledge support: Assist in preparing presentations, briefing materials, and knowledge products for industry interactions, events, and internal

reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Educational qualification: Master's degree in engineering, technology, economics, public policy, management, data science, or a related field, with

demonstrated academic or applied research exposure.

2. Foundational sectoral knowledge: Basic understanding of the civil aviation and/or space ecosystem, value chains, and industry trends, with the ability to

support research, analysis, and advisory work.

3. Research and analytical skills: Strong capability to conduct desk research, analyse qualitative and quantitative data, prepare briefs and presentations, and

support evidence-based recommendations.

4. Problem-solving aptitude: Ability to structure problems, analyse information logically, and contribute to solutions under guidance from senior team members.

5. Communication and coordination skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills to support coordination with internal teams and engagement with

external stakeholders.

6. Project support and execution: Ability to assist in managing workstreams, track deliverables and timelines, and support projects in a fast-paced, multistakeholder

environment.

7. Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in industry, management consulting, investment advisory, or research.
