Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data architecture, cloud migration, data engineering, and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise-scale data architectures on GCP.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and data lake/data warehouse solutions.
- Architect and optimize solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Composer.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Define data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of cloud data platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.





Required Skills

- 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in:
- BigQuery
- Dataflow
- Dataproc
- Cloud Storage
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Composer
- IAM & GCP Security
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and large-scale data processing.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and analytics platforms.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

- GCP Certifications (Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect).
- Experience with Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or other up-to-date data technologies.
- Exposure to ML/AI workloads on GCP is an added advantage.
