We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our agile team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data engineering, specifically with Azure, and will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data storage solutions.
- Optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues in Azure.
- Implement security and compliance measures to protect sensitive data in Azure environments.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-13 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Proficient in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
- Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
